Naveen Fernandez is an Associate Director at Deloitte Asia Pacific having more than 11 years of experience in design and development of business strategies around digital transformation, and ability to drive purposeful innovation pursuits for clients in the financial services, technology, and consumer retail industries. He leads multiple planning (strategic, financial, people), by partnering with cross functional and cross-geo teams to determine business targets and goals in an integrated and cohesive manner for customer-centric propositions. His consulting experience spans across the USA and India markets, currently focusing on the Asia-Pacific and China market. His experience includes, assessing potential partnership/collaboration opportunities with technology & data vendors to ensure that suitable applications are developed in accordance with competitive business strategies. He helps clients to rapidly design, prototype and launch new creative products and experiences, translating insights on human behavior from design-led methods into offerings and technologies. His success is found on the skills that include strategic vision, innovation, change management leveraging key emerging technologies – Generative AI, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Cloud, Digital, Automation, Blockchain and Metaverse/Web3.
Naveen actively represents the firm in eminence activities such as campus talks, guest talks, case competition judge, recruitment, technology conference panelist, as well as in various internal and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
Naveen enthusiastically volunteers as a lead facilitator for UNLEASH (Global Innovation Lab – United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) hackathons designed to address sustainability challenges in specific contexts around the world. He is also the producer for Young Professionals – Deloitte WorldClass Podcast. Beside his profession in the consulting industry, Naveen is also exploring out a way that unites Sustainability with Technology for a broader impact to the human society.
Naveen graduated with an MBA from HKUST Business School and an outbound exchange with IESE Business School. On the personal front, he enjoys mentoring candidates for college applications and navigate career choices, cultural exchange, hiking, and cooking.
