As the AI & Machine Learning Engineering Director, I lead a team of talented engineers and scientists who design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in the domains of artificial intelligence, data science, and machine learning. I have over 15 years of experience in applying the latest in the fields of AI, ML, NLP, cloud, and analytics to various business problems and opportunities, and I am passionate about delivering value and impact through data-driven and data-centric approaches.
I hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I conducted research on text classification using neural networks and support vector machines. I am also a certified Azure cloud architect and a trainer in Spark, Databricks, machine learning at scale, deep reinforcement learning, and generative deep learning. I have authored and co-authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and I have multiple certifications from Microsoft, Databricks, Cloudera and O’Reilly. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and insights with others, and I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new challenges.
