As an industrial engineer, I specialized in optimization and data science through my master’s and doctorate degrees. Nowadays, I work as a Data Science Project Leader (LATAM) in the largest e-commerce platform in Latin American (Mercado Libre), improving the efficiency, quality, and profitability of the company’s processes and co-creating a collaborative work environment fit for professional and organizational growth. I’m ahead of a multidisciplinary and multicultural team of masters and doctors in operations research, who develop mathematical models and data analysis to solve optimization problems of the company’s fulfillment centers. My role encompasses people management, problem modeling, project management, and visibility of monthly results to senior leadership.
