Chris Buetti

As an entrepreneur, data scientist, and software engineer, I have a deep-rooted passion for AI and marketing. I am presently the CEO of Lionize, an ad-tech company I founded to streamline the influencer marketing process. Our proprietary software platform boosts productivity through automation, promoting data-driven decision-making for brands and agencies. Lionize facilitates seamless execution of influencer campaigns, from top to bottom, with enhanced speed, efficiency, and minimal effort. We are proudly backed by Cultivation Capital and ScOp Venture Capital.

In 2017, I graduated from Wake Forest University, majoring in Computational Mathematics & Statistics (focus in Machine Learning) and minoring in Entrepreneurship. While there, I tutored R programming for the math department and completed my senior thesis, “Calculating the Probability of NBA Field Goals Using Machine Learning Algorithms,” under Dr. Staci Hepler’s guidance.

My professional experience includes engineering and data science roles at the NBA, NBC, and Dish Network. In 2019, I authored a top-read data science article on Medium.com, which ended up being the most-read post on Medium that year. My work has been featured on CNBC, the front page of BuzzFeed News, an NPR podcast, and a live TV interview with Cheddar.

(Yes, my LinkedIn bio was written by ChatGPT).

I can also solve a Rubik’s cube in like 2 minutes if anyone cares about that.
