I have extensive practical experience of automating instrument control, data acquisition, and physical and chemical tests and assays in a laboratory and test bench environment, using National Instruments LabVIEW and other software and hardware. I have specified, developed, implemented and managed systems for the capture, storage, analysis and presentation of laboratory data and have devised novel, rapid tests for new chemical products for the fuel additives market as well as test equipment and protocols in the production of sensors for clinical diagnostics.
