More than 9 year of experience as Search Engineer and currently working on Search algorithms, relevance ranking.
I have knowledge about searching, indexing pipelines, basics of Information retrieval, VSM model, BM25 Algorithm, faceting, grouping and spatial search.
I worked on improving the performance of Apache solr in production environment by tweaking the QueryResultCaching, also tracked down the problem of reopening of newSearch twice in solr 4.8.1 version, which was a bug.
I also worked on providing the demo of Solr Cloud cluster of 3 local machines using external zookeeper, etc. I am also an active member on Apache Solr mailing list and reporting the bugs as well.

I am experienced in customizing the Solr by adding custom functionalities in indexing pipelines. I also implemented the customized phonetic search in Indiamart to improve the quality of search results.
I also implemented the Banned Classification Model using the scikit-learn library of python to predict which product should be banned product on Indiamart. The accuracy score using the cross-validation was 86% .
