As a Business Analyst at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in India, I use data science to improve the efficiency and quality of the manufacturing processes. I optimize the yield and COPE for the company’s biggest OSD plant, using advanced analytics techniques, such as Random Forest and XG Boost. I have successfully implemented a data-driven platform for the API business, Jarvis, and evaluated various tools for string matching, such as fuzzy logic, openrefine.
I have a strong background in statistics, having graduated with a M.Sc in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Aligarh Muslim University, where I received two scholarships for academic excellence. I also have multiple certifications in Python, Linear Regression, and Data Science from Coursera and John Hopkins University, which demonstrate my proficiency and interest in data analysis.
I am passionate about learning new things and expanding my horizons. I read a book every month on various topics, from finance to marathons to statistics. I also practice meditation and deep work to enhance my focus and productivity. I have run 6 half marathons till now and plan to run a full marathon soon. I am motivated by the challenges and opportunities that data science offers, and I aspire to become a leader in this field.
