With 17+ years of professional work experience, I am a multi-lingual (EN-ES- SV) researcher driven by an analytical mindset, presently working as an Analyst at The Public Health Agency of Sweden (Fohm) and a Reseacher affiliated with University of Gothenburg.
At Fohm, my current work involves the development and dissemination of evidence based research to support the promotion of health and the prevention of ill-health at a national level. The focus of this work is on examining and disentangling the extent to which health is influenced by structural and individual living conditions, health behaviours and lifestyle factors including eating habits, physical activity and increasing sedentary leisure and work time.

As it relates specifically to my research at the university, the focus is to understand the social and behavioural determinants of health among children and young people. I also have a special interest in studying the determinants of ethnic and gender inequalities in health, and the impact of these inequalities across the life course.
I defended my PhD thesis at the University of Essex in 2018, it was aimed at investigating the association between place of residence and mental health among 10–15-year olds residing in England and Wales.
