As a Senior Genomic Data Scientist with over eight years of experience in bioinformatics and machine learning, I have led and contributed to several projects in automation, statistical applications, and bioinformatics. I have developed genomic analysis toolkits, customer-facing interactive reports, and quality control pipelines/metrics.
My mission is to solve real problems through the use of data science and statistics in multiple areas such as genomics, health, biology, while utilizing my skills in product development and project management. I hold a M.S in statistics and a BS in Applied Mathematics. I have also obtained multiple certifications, honors, and have authored/co-authored in papers relevant to data science and bioinformatics. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and enjoy teaching and collaborating with diverse teams.
