I admire people who act on Intrinsic CURIOSITY (Nietzsche’s ‘innocent child’) and MOVE FORWARD (Marguerite Duras – Le Camion) to CHALLENGE paradigms (Thomas Kuhn) and rhetorical ‘Just because’ legitimacy of forms of Power (Robert Sapolsky).
Who?!
I am the everlasting student, talkative stranger, creative critic, 3rd of 4 Koeks, mother of 1 biscuit, activist for a sea of chaos, and flexible late-comer; I cherish time with loved ones, navigate the whirlwind of parenthood, and occasionally eat snow while snowboarding. I love “reading” with KOBO-Listening Books (mij fancy term for napping), strumming the guitar when time allows, playing amateur field hockey, and immersing myself in board games like Frank’s Zoo, Lost Cities, and chess.
What?!
Because my core quality (Daniel Ofman) ‘flexibility’ can turn into chaos, I am glad to be surrounded by colleagues who support me in implementing structure. They encourage me to explore my own capacities. In respect to René Descartes his famous words “Cogito ergo sum”, I believe more in the idea: “I become what others think I am — Others think, therefore I am.” Or as Esther Perel states: “the self-made man doesn’t exist, I depend on others.”

In my spare time, I aim to inspire children and young adults to be imaginative: to improvise, write, play & tell their own stories, and reflect on thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Assemble to Enhance Change!
Constructive Controversy is a key method to innovation & and growth. I consider people to be autonomous agents (island) while emphasizing the importance of connecting and building strong relations with a wide variety of ‘other’ agents. It excites me when people from (assumingly) non-related groups (Archipelagos) build bridges as an attempt to induce change: formation, adaptation, and development of (new) assemblages (Gilles Deleuze & Felix Guattari).
Me, myself and debt
Kenneth Burke compares life to a theatrical piece: life requires an actor, a scene, an action, some means for the action to take place, and a purpose. The contemporary neoliberal ‘development’ scheme (Noam Chomsky), underpinning its Capitalist Realism (Mark Fisher), encourages me to take life as a ride (Bill Hicks) and to sarcastically laugh (George Carlin) about the socialization of ‘me, myself & debt’ (62.$$$,$$ for several diplomas in Psychology, Teaching, Conflict Moderation, and Political & Social Sciences).
