Gustavo is currently a Data Architect Consultant at Amazon Web Services (AWS) focused in helping enterprises and government entities on their journey through the AWS cloud.
He acted as a Technical Leader of the Data Engineering team at Blu in which his main focus was to ensure the good functionality of the pipelines and data repositories (Data Lake) together with the team and to interface business needs with related areas.
Previously, he served as a Data Engineer at Gerenciagram and Zoox in which he was in charge of developing data flows and creating the corporate Data Lake for these companies.
More previously, Gustavo had an academic career, acting as a researcher in Astronomy and Astrophysics at national (e.g., National Observatory) as well as international (e.g., Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur, France) institutes.
During his career, he also helped to train new professionals teaching at national (Infnet, UFRJ) and international (Udacity) companies.
Gustavo holds a PhD in Astrophysics and is certified in Big Data, Data Streaming and Python.
