As Director of the McGill Sustainable Systems Initiative, I lead efforts to advance sustainability research at McGill. The MSSI is a new paradigm for how universities can tackle sustainability thru novel funding and community building approaches. With over 8 years of experience and a MSc. in bioresource engineering, I have a deep understanding of the complex challenges associated with fostering a transition towards a sustainable future. I draw on this background in driving programming, performance, and partnerships for the MSSI.

Previously, I co-founded Nectar Technologies and served as Chief Science Officer, a beekeeping technology company that is being used in over 200,000 hives. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with diverse audiences and stakeholders, and contributing to the global dialogue on sustainability and food system innovation.
