I’m currently a PhD candidate at TU Darmstadt, focusing on applying deep reinforcement learning to study microswimmer behavior (thesis expected by Q1 2025). My research involves using novel deep RL methods for rediscovering and/or enhancing foraging strategies developed by bacteria through evolution.
Before my PhD studies, I worked as a data scientist at a quantitative firm focusing on using statistical and machine learning methods for analyzing financial data. My Master’s thesis was on studying the wisdom of crowd phenomenon using sociophysical models and large-scale data analysis.
