Mia Chang supports customers across EMEA with their AI/ML workloads, focussing on IDP (intelligent document processing) and NLP (natural language processing) use cases, helping customers to discover and benefit from the value of the text data in their business.
Besides customer engagements, she teaches Computer Vision, Nature Language Processing, and MLOps courses at Machine Learning University within company, onboards colleagues to the AI/ML world.
Before joining AWS, Mia was involved in the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional program for four years, contributing and sharing her knowledge in technical communities and conferences. She co-authored two books about AI/ML in the cloud which are listed on Amazon.com.
Mia works with customers across various industries, notably assisting start-ups and DNBs(digital native business) with their architecture design, and sharing her developer experience with customers on AI/ML projects. Her experience in both Azure and AWS cloud environments, working in both Germany and Taiwan, provides her with broad insights and perspectives when participating in customer meetings, whilst her experience as a data scientist allows her to dive deep on a range of technical topics with ease.
