I am an experimental particle physicist, currently searching for Dark Matter and new physics with the ATLAS experiment at CERN and the DarkSide experiment at Gran Sasso. I played a crucial role in the discovery of the Higgs boson in its four-lepton decay channel, and in the characterisation of its spin-parity state using multi-dimensional correlations of final state kinematic variables. I am deeply interested in the development of new data analysis techniques for enhancing the signal to background discrimination power in fully or partially reconstructed final states.
