Henrik Eckermann

As part of the Developmental Psychobiology lab group at the Donders Institute (Radboud UMC), I contribute to answer the broader question of “How is the gut microbiota composition related to health outcomes in humans”. My focus lies on data analyses of longitudinal and cross sectional data to contribute to the scientific body that tries to answer above question.

My current work mostly consists of:
– Applying existing and developing statistical models (mostly in R/Stan/Python) that are suited to model our specific longitudinal data sets
– scientific writing/presenting
– following scientific literature
– Develop scientific skills, currently focus on Causal AI. How can we approach the data to go beyond associations (if possible)?
