I have relatively quickly understood what my professional interests are. Having secondary education background in physics and mathematics I initially chose the path of nuclear physics. However, after a couple of felicitous business trips to CERN laboratory (the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Switzerland), I realized that I would like to be involved in more down-to-earth projects. I desired to get into more math than physics, to use more applied science than academic and develop more practice-oriented concepts than theoretical. Engineering was more interesting for me than scientific research. Therefore, I switched my attention to a relatively new and advanced field of science – Artificial Intelligence. It combines all the above and includes programming, which I particularly like.
In the end of August 2018 I have graduated from UvA. During my education I have acquired a lot of knowledge on various subjects, but the most interesting for me were Python, Machine Learning, SQL and Big Data Analysis. In Machine Learning I have done projects using both traditional methods and Deep Learning techniques in Pytorch and Tensorflow.
After the university I decided to spent more time on becoming a professional software developer. Therefore I also acquired knowledge in REST API’s. I began with learning how to create an API with OAS 3, and continued by studying the Flask framework in Python to implement the APi’s. I have also obtained experience working with various CICD tools (Azure DevOps, Gitlab), SQL (MySQL), as well as NoSQL (MongoDB).
Currently I am working the ABN AMRO bank in the IT department. My works involves the development and exposure of REST API services to the customers. I possess various skills & perks, and above all a desire to develop solutions and expose them to the world.
