I am a highly motivated and results-oriented leader with over 15+ years of experience in policy, transforming data into actionable insights, and innovation. I have a track record of success in leading complex projects and initiatives within government agencies, and international organization as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs & Housing (MOMRAH) in Saudi Arabia.
Key Achievements:
• Led the establishment of the National Urban Observatory (NUO) at MOMRAH, creating a national centralized platform for urban data collection, analysis, and visualization. This resulted in a 60% improvement in decision-making efficiency within the ministry and other municipals.
• Oversaw the development and implementation of a data-driven decision support system at MOMRAH and covered the SDG indicators.
• Managed the Innovation and Statistical Development department at the General Authority for Statistics (GaStat), overseeing the development and implementation of several big data projects. This resulted in increase in the availability of statistical data and products.
• Served as a Senior Research Officer at the IMF, analyzing policy issues for the World Economic Outlook (WEO) and providing statistical solutions to complex problems.
• Actively participated in international initiatives, including the Global Urban Observatory Network (GUO-Net) Global Working Group of big data (GWG) at the United Nations (UN), the G20 Digital Economy Task Force (DETF), and the E-commerce council-measurement committee.
