I possess nearly 10 years of experience in the gas turbine industry. During my tenure a thermal analyst with Rolls-Royce (RROIPL, QuEST Global), I have contributed towards performance improvements of aeroengines. I offer particular experience in design and analysis aspects of gas turbine casing components which are extendable to various mechanical engineering systems. I have demonstrated my problem solving skills by providing engineering solutions to complex aero-acoustics problems during my PhD at the Rolls-Royce gas turbine noise UTC. The methods that are being developed for my doctoral thesis are aimed at improving the design of novel engine nozzles with reduced noise emissions. I have demonstrated good communication skills, especially while working with multicultural teams. I am a quick learner, so I can learn the necessary software tools, methods and processes within shorter time frames. I possess good interpersonal skills required to integrate well within and outside the industry. Going forward, I would like to continue my contributions towards the development of state-of-the-art methods to improve the design of various mechanical engineering systems, and in turn its performance.
