As a Senior Data Scientist at Healthfirst, I apply my 14+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, and Big Data to create data-driven solutions that enhance the health care experience and outcomes for millions of members and providers. I have a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from NYU, a Nano-Degree in Deep Learning from Udacity, and multiple certifications in Statistical Learning, Applied Data Science, and BI/Big Data.
My current projects include designing and deploying NLP models for call center analytics, a member-based graph database on Neo4j, and a COVID-19 hotspot model to identify the biggest hotspots in NYC. I use Python, SQL, AWS, Tableau, Redshift, Athena, and Airflow as my main tools for data analysis, visualization, and automation. I also mentor, train, and interview data scientists, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential areas of improvement for the business. My mission is to use data science to improve the quality, accessibility, and affordability of health care services.
