Principal Investigator | Pellin Lab | Gene Therapy Program
I am the Principal Investigator of the Pellin Lab, a computational research group operating within the Gene Therapy Program at the Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center—one of the world’s leading pediatric gene therapy programs.
Our lab is committed to advancing the gene therapy field through the development and application of rigorous quantitative methods. Our research addresses modeling challenges in gene/cell therapy development, encompassing areas such as protein engineering and safety assessment. We specialize in creating innovative approaches for single-cell genomics, modeling clonal dynamics, and spatial analysis of genomic data. From a translational perspective, our interest lies in hematopoiesis and neurodegenerative diseases.
Our interdisciplinary team combines expertise in statistics, computational biology, genomics, physics, and machine learning. This collaborative approach allows us to address complex biological questions and contribute to shaping the next generation of gene therapies.
Connect with us at https://pellinlab.org/ to explore potential collaborations or join our team.
We are always looking for talented post-docs or master students (e.g. thesis projects) interested in spending some time in our lab.
