I’m passionate about work that aims to make for a better future. At Balcones Recycling, I apply my professional and leadership experience to work toward increasing material circularity and advancing the economy by diverting waste from landfills.
In my role, I leverage my skills in strategy execution, process improvement, data analysis, and leadership to identify and pursue new opportunities, negotiate contracts, and manage client relationships. I have a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability, turning around underperforming business units, and developing high-performing teams. I hold an MBA from Rice University with a focus on energy and finance, and I have also worked with industry-leading companies like Waste Connections and R360 Environmental Solutions.
I’m a sponge for information and I’m at my best when I’m working on solutions to big or complex problems. It might not be apparent from my work experience, but I often rely on my undergraduate degree in information systems management to apply technical perspective and data-driven decision-making in my work.
I’m a health nut with a passion for working and playing outside. On weekends, I’m often working in my native plant garden and playing with my kids, occasionally volunteering at park cleanup events within our local community. I wouldn’t be the person I am, nor where I’m at professionally, without my wife and partner dedicated to raising good humans and having a life centered around family, physical, and mental health.
