I shifted my focus from pure software dev to machine learning and data science 7 years ago, and love what I’m doing now. I really enjoy building systems that can derive insights from data that’s always messy, improving and automating processes that have outgrown their original goals and constraints, and deploying products that exceed expectations. I’ve learned and practiced skills across the entire AI/ML engineering stack, and have always been hands-on and results-oriented gaining expertise in databases, Linux, Windows, back-end coding, front-end APIs and UI. I’ve written production code in Python/SQL/Java/C/C++ and a few others.
