With over 20 years experience in higher education including undergraduate and graduate admissions/recruitment, academic and need-based scholarships, retention, student development, and financial aid, I have guided and mentored many students and colleagues toward accomplishing both their educational and professional goals. I have lead a team to build a top-ranked Business Analytics Masters program (Fortune & US News) that also received international recognition for educational innovation (QS Bronze Innovation Award). I have a passion for life long learning and understand that higher education can be one pathway toward improving oneself and the communities that we live in.
Since 2002 I have served as advisor for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at Texas A&M University.
