• Ph.D. in Biology and M.S. in Data Science experienced in scientific research and writing
• 2 years of hands on experience of big data analysis with AI/ML/NLP techniques
• Currently ORISE fellow in CDER/OND
• Adept in defining and using training data set to train and tune various ML model including supervised/unsupervised learning (such as SVM, KNN, Decision Trees), classification, clustering, prediction
• Familiar with MedDRA, ATC, ICD coding systems and MeSH indexing
• Skilled in ML modeling using libraries (Numpy, Scikit-learn, NLTK, Keras, Gensim)
• Experience in various deep learning architectures with TensorFlow Keras
• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) including text vectorization, sentiment analysis, network analysis
• Experience in building and implementing data integration and exploration pipeline to integrate multiple sourced data, structured or unstructured
• Intermediate statistical analysis including hypothesis testing, confidence interval, ANOVA and survival analysis using R or python
• Data visualization using R, Python and Tableau
• Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong team player with strong collaborative, communication and interpersonal skills
