I’m a versatile backend software engineer who has worked on projects at all levels of the data stack: data infrastructure, data warehousing, ETL, analytics, machine learning, deployment.
I’m looking for roles that offer career growth. I’d love to learn a new programming language or two, work on new types of systems (streaming data!), work on performance-critical sections of code, develop an asynchronous or concurrent library, and much else.
I also want to address something that comes up often: I began my career as a data scientist, but I’ve done quite a bit of continuing education via Stanford and Berkeley, as well as lots of self-study. Classes I’ve taken and topics I’ve learned include algorithms and data structures, computer architecture and system organization, databases, and operating systems. (Working my way toward distributed systems.) I’m very committed to rigorous computer science fundamentals.
So give me a chance. You won’t regret it đ
