Current Cloud software development efforts focus on the creation of big data analytics along with supporting microservices. Software developed includes batch layer and speed layer applications, and granular middle tier services developed primarily using Apache Hadoop stack components. The development, deployment, and management of these applications has leveraged big data stacks within Amazon Web Services Elastic Map Reduce (AWS EMR) and Cloudera (CDH) distributions.
Ms. Aquilina works in close communication and active participation with the intelligence analyst end user, government staff, Information Assurance experts and multi-contractor teammates to provide rapid and quickly evolving capabilities fielded to an operational theater. Additionally, Ms. Aquilina supports multiple intelligence community members who are currently collaborating on this cloud computing platform and leveraging its capabilities to meet their mission specific requirements.
