Over many years, I have helped talented people find the right role and opportunities for their careers and life journeys. Today, I’ve been given the opportunity to help teams of professionals in technology scale and grow their organizations in some of the most competitive landscapes and business markets. At the baseline into my way of working is to solve problems and to help cut through ambiguity for companies. The foundation to whom I Am is connecting people to communities that support their life mission.
My early experience with a traumatic event changed my life and forced me to deal with being uncomfortable and facing ambiguity early in life. At that time, I lived in several cities and communities around the United States and before the age of 15, I had lived with hundreds of people and over 20 families. Due to these experiences, I was unconsciously training myself to listen and connecting to people.
Later, my unconscious realizations let me to understand people, their motives, and how their dreams morphed into reality. I became an attentive listener and even encouraged my friends others on with essential decisions and suggestions. I become someone that people turned to for life insights from recommendations.
My life lessons taught me that I had to be myself no matter what environment I found myself in. I lived in a community that did not resemble my approach to life or even my unconditional background, but I was still given the freedom to try and learn new things. I was given the opportunity to try things and fail, or try things and succeed. Many times, I analyze the failures of others and try to gleam learnings from their experience to add to my own success. Unknowingly, I became a student of human nature, a skill that has remained with me to this day.
So, today I manage large teams and diligently work to provide an inclusive workplace environment where collaboration and innovation is open to everyone.
